This Sunday at SLACMorning Worship – 11 AM, As we gather this Sunday, we're looking forward to worshipping together as a church family and continuing our journey through the book of Acts. We're excited to welcome Pastor Heath back as he resumes our Acts series with a message titled "Embracing God's Will" from Acts 21:1-40. Join us in a time of worship through music as we lift our voices together and create space to refocus our hearts on God and His leading. During the summer months, our Nursery and Kids' Church ministries are taking a seasonal break. Families are invited to pick up one of our Summer Worship Packs from the foyer before the service, filled with colouring pages, activity sheets, crayons, and other quiet activities for children to enjoy during the service. If someone has been on your heart lately, this could be a wonderful Sunday to invite them to join you. We're grateful for each of you and look forward to worshipping together this Sunday! Summer Kids' Ministry
As summer arrives, our Nursery and Kids' Church ministries will be taking a seasonal break, giving our wonderful volunteers a well-earned opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy the summer months with their families. We are so thankful for each person who faithfully invests their time, energy, and love into the children of our church throughout the year. Their ministry makes a lasting difference, and we're grateful for the care they so generously give each week. While our regular children's programs will pause for the summer, we've prepared Summer Worship Packs for our younger guests! Families will find colouring pages, activity sheets, crayons, and other quiet activities available in the foyer before each service to help children engage during our worship gathering. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Nursery and Kids' Church in the fall as we begin another exciting ministry season together. Until then, we pray your summer is filled with rest, adventure, laughter, and opportunities to grow together as a family. |

Celebrating Our Graduates
As a church family, we join together in celebrating the graduates in our congregation and community. Reaching this milestone is the result of hard work, perseverance, and the support of family, friends, teachers, and mentors along the way. As you step into this next season of life, whether that leads to further education, a new career, or new opportunities, we pray that you would continue to seek God's wisdom and trust His leading each step of the way. May the Lord guide your path, strengthen your faith, and fill your heart with courage as you embrace the future He has prepared for you. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Congratulations, Graduates! We are praying for you and cheering you on as you begin this exciting new chapter. |

Make Today Count
One of the questions Herb challenged us with on Sunday was simple, yet deeply personal: "What are you going to do with the time you have left?" We may not know how much time we have, but we can choose how we use the time God has given us today. This week, pause for just five minutes and ask yourself: "What is one thing I can do today that will point someone toward Jesus?" It doesn't have to be something extraordinary. Send an encouraging message. Pray with someone. Read a Bible story with your child or grandchild. Invite a friend for coffee. Offer a helping hand. Small acts of faithfulness often have a greater impact than we realize. As you begin each day this week, simply pray: "Lord, help me use today's moments for what matters most." Remember: We don't build a meaningful life all at once. We build it one faithful day at a time. |
