This SundayMorning Worship – 11 AM, This Sunday at SLACAs we gather this Sunday, we’re looking forward to being together as a church family—worshipping, learning, and following where God is leading. Join us in a time of worship through music, lifting our voices together and creating space to refocus our hearts on Him. Pastor Heath will continue our series in Acts, When the Spirit Moves, the Church Acts, with this week’s message: For families, Kids’ Ministries are available during the service, with Nursery for newborns to age 5 and Kids’ Church for ages 6–11. Children will be dismissed after the music portion of the service. If someone has been on your heart lately, this could be a great Sunday to invite them to join you. We’re grateful for each of you and look forward to gathering this Sunday again. For more infomation visit:

A Different Pace for SummerSlowing down to notice where God is moving in everyday life. As summer settles in and many of our regular ministries take a seasonal pause, we're reminded that our walk with Jesus doesn't have to slow down. In fact, summer can offer a unique opportunity to breathe a little deeper, reconnect with God, and notice His presence in the ordinary moments of life. Starting this week, you'll notice a few new features in our newsletter designed to encourage you throughout the summer months: Coffee With Scripture Acts in Everyday Life Tiny Practices Whether you're spending your days at the lake, travelling, working, or enjoying a quieter pace at home, we hope these weekly reflections encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus and your heart connected to community. Let's continue walking together, listening for where the Spirit is leading, and living out our faith in everyday life this summer. |

Acts in Everyday Life
Last Sunday, we explored the disturbance that broke out in Ephesus when people began responding to the Gospel. As lives were changed, old beliefs were challenged, priorities shifted, and the culture around them pushed back. Most of us won't find ourselves at the center of a city-wide riot this week, but we may experience something similar on a smaller scale. Following Jesus often brings change. Sometimes it changes how we spend our time. Sometimes it changes our attitudes, our habits, our relationships, or the way we view success. And whenever God begins to reshape part of our lives, it can feel a little uncomfortable before it feels rewarding. The Gospel doesn't simply make us better versions of ourselves. It transforms us from the inside out. This week, take a moment to reflect: What is God currently changing in me? Rather than resisting that work, ask Him for the courage to trust His leading. Growth is rarely comfortable, but it is often where we experience God's greatest work in our lives. The same Gospel that transformed Ephesus is still transforming people today, one heart at a time. |

Tiny Practice
Identify One Disturbance Take five quiet minutes this week and ask:
Write down the first thing that comes to mind. Then pray specifically about that one thing each day this week. Small acts of obedience often become the starting point for significant growth. |
