Advent - Week One - Hope
This season of Advent reminds us that, like the faithful believers of old, we are waiting in hope for Christ. We are called to have our hearts in readiness for His return. Perhaps God is using this Advent season to remind you that the true joy of Christmas is found in Him. Ask yourself: If you stripped away the gifts, the lights, the food, the festivities, the traditions - could you still find joy? Perhaps reflecting on this will encourage you not to get swept up in the stress of the holidays but to cherish instead the moments of joy God gives and to want to share that with others. |
Believe - Week 4 "Follow Me" - John 1:35-51Book of John During last week's message, "The Forerunner," pastor Heath challenged us with two questions. Have you considered who in your past and present is pointing you to Christ? Who are you pointing to Christ that doesn't already know Him? Continuing this week, we are still in the first chapter of the Gospel of John. Titled "Follow Me," we look at our role as believers and followers of Jesus Christ. Join us and expect to be challenged more in our daily journey as children of God and our role as His apprentices. Have you missed last week's message? Click the link below. For more infomation visit:

Sunday for the Poor
Thanks to Carol for updating us on our projects this month! We will share the total giving from last week in next week's email. "Every year Food for the Hungry puts out their Gift Guide. I am going to send a physical copy of the gift guide to each of my kid's families and let my grandchildren pick out some gifts for me to give from them. I've used the gift guide with my Sunday School classes in the past and the kids love looking through it and choosing the gifts." Thanks for this idea Carol! See link below for gift ideas!
