We look forward to hearing her encouraging message and the ways God is at work through His Church. Pastor Heath will be away this weekend as Heather undergoes surgery on Friday afternoon. During the summer months, our Nursery and Kids' Church ministries are taking a seasonal break. Families are invited to pick up a Summer Worship Pack from the foyer before the service, filled with colouring pages, activity sheets, crayons, and other quiet activities for children to enjoy during the service. Potluck Ministry
Some of the most meaningful ministry happens around a table. Our Potluck Ministry helps create a warm and welcoming space where our church family can share a meal, build friendships, and enjoy fellowship together on the first Sunday of each month. Whether you enjoy working in the kitchen, helping prepare and organize food, setting up tables and chairs, or pitching in with cleanup afterward, there's a place for you to serve. Every helping hand makes these gatherings possible and helps create an environment where people feel welcomed and connected. As we prepare for our Kick-Off Sunday BBQ and another exciting ministry season, this is a great opportunity to jump in, meet others, and discover the joy of serving behind the scenes. Interested in helping? We'd love to connect with you! Contact the office if you are interested in joining this team! (info@slavelakealliance.com) One Church. Many Gifts. One Mission. |

Storms don't always arrive with wind and waves.
Sometimes they come as unexpected phone calls, uncertain diagnoses, difficult conversations, financial pressures, or seasons where the future feels unclear. Paul's journey reminds us that faith doesn't remove the storm, but it does change how we walk through it. While everything around him seemed uncertain, Paul remained anchored to the certainty of God's promises. The circumstances were frightening, but God's faithfulness never changed. Wherever this week finds you, remember that the same God who was faithful to Paul is faithful today. He is present in every storm and can be trusted to carry us safely through according to His purposes. |

Anchor Yourself
Take a few quiet moments each morning this week and ask: "What promise of God do I need to remember today?" Choose one verse or promise from Scripture and return to it whenever anxiety or uncertainty begins to rise. Rather than focusing on the size of the storm, allow God's promises to become the anchor that steadies your heart. |
