Sunday Schedule

Sunday Schedule

ADULT CLASS: 9:30 am

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE: 11 am

Whether you are joining us live or online, we are glad you joined us!

In addition to this being the first Sunday of Advent, we will share the partaking of Communion.

"Therefore the LORD himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."

Isaiah 7:14

HOPE- The prophet Isaiah foretold the coming of the Messiah with these words: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” Immanuel means “God with us.” In John 1:14, the original words literally mean, “God pitched His tent among us.” The promise of Isaiah seemed almost impossible—the God of the universe would come to earth and move into their village, their neighbourhood! Then, on an ordinary night in an ordinary stable, an extraordinary baby was born. Jesus was God clothed in flesh, and in His humanness, He brought us unimaginable hope.

As you remember the incredible story of Jesus’ birth, take time to ponder how miraculous it is that the God of the universe took on human form to fill your heart with hope. As you look forward to the celebration of Jesus’ birth, take time to pause in awe and wonder as you see examples of God’s faithfulness and quietly praise Him. He is with us. And as you remember the hope He brought and how it has changed your life, shout for joy to all of the heavens. He is with us!

THIS SUNDAY AFTER CHURCH

Please join us after Sunday morning Worship Service for fellowship, food, and community building.

Please bring a main dish or salad to share.

Thanks to our organizers!

Special Note: Recently, our chair lift was damaged and unavailable for use. Unfortunately, it was found to have been a small toy stuck in the track of the chair rail, and as a result, the church incurred an unexpected expense to repair. Parents/guardians, please remind our young ones and youth that this is not an area to be played on or around.

CURRENT PLAN

Anticipating Christmas: A 5-Day Advent Plan
5 Days

So often, the holidays come and go before we have a chance to focus on preparing our hearts for Christmas. Advent is our way of remembering that God came to be with us, is still with us, and will come again. Over the next 5 days, we'll examine the four Advent themes: hope, peace, love, and joy.
