 Say Cheese! We're Almost Ready!

Say Cheese! We're Almost Ready!

Our Mac & Cheese Bar is coming together, but we're still missing a few ingredients for the perfect potluck!

Mac & Cheese Bar!

Sunday, November 1, 2026 | Following Morning Worship

Comfort food, community, and a whole lot of cheesy goodness!

Join us for our November Church Potluck as we put a delicious twist on a familiar favourite with a Build-Your-Own Mac & Cheese Bar!

Just like our popular Baked Potato Bar, we'll start with a warm, creamy base of macaroni and cheese, then let everyone customize their bowl with a variety of delicious toppings.

Whether you like yours classic and cheesy or loaded with all the extras, there's something for everyone!

Here's What We Need

Sunday's potluck is just around the corner, and there are still a few items needed to complete the menu.

Check out the updated list below to see what's missing and how you can help make this cheesy celebration a delicious success!

If you'd like to bring something, please contact Jean at meals@slavelakealliance.com to coordinate your contribution. This will help us make sure we have everything covered without too many duplicates.

The Main Attraction

  • 3 crockpots of prepared macaroni & cheese

Hearty Toppings

  • 2 crockpots of hot dogs, cut into bite-sized pieces

Dessert

  • Fruit trays for dessert

Come Hungry. Bring a Friend!

Whether you're contributing a dish or simply joining us around the table, we'd love to have you there.

It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy good food, connect with one another, and spend time together as a church family.

Everyone is welcome!

This Sunday at SLAC

This Sunday at SLAC

We're looking forward to another Sunday together at SLAC as we continue our fall sermon series, Called to Be!

Our morning begins at 9:30 AM with Sunday Morning Bible Study. Whether you've been attending regularly or are considering joining for the first time, you're always welcome to come early and spend time together in God's Word.

At 11:00 AM, we'll gather for Sunday Morning Worship as Pastor Heath brings our Called to Be series to a close with the sixth and final message:

Called to Be | Confession
Luke 7:36–50

Over the past several weeks, we've explored what it means to be the Church through Community, Charity, Corporate, Celebration, and Called.

This Sunday, we turn to our final "C": Confession, as Pastor Heath brings the series full circle, exploring the forgiveness and love of Jesus and what it means to share that hope with the world around us.

Join us as we conclude this journey of discovering who we are Called to Be.

Nursery and Kids' Church are available during the service. Children attending Kids' Church will begin the morning with their families and be dismissed before the message.

Nursery: Ages 0–3
Kids' Church: Ages 4–11

And as you make your Sunday plans, consider inviting someone to join you. Sometimes a simple invitation is all it takes to help someone feel welcome and connected.

Sunday Morning Bible Study • 9:30 AM
Sunday Morning Worship • 11:00 AM

We look forward to gathering, worshipping, and sharing Communion with you this Sunday!
