WHO'S IT FOR?
SLAC Youth welcomes students in Grades 7–12 from our church and throughout the Slave Lake community.
Whether you've grown up in church, are completely new, have questions about faith, or simply want a place to connect with other teens, there's a place for you here!
Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming community where youth can build genuine friendships, have fun together, explore what it means to follow Jesus, and discover that they belong.
WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS YEAR?
For the 2026–2027 ministry year, SLAC Youth offers a mix of Alpha Youth gatherings and monthly youth events, creating opportunities to connect, have fun, build friendships, and grow in faith.
ALPHA YOUTH

Life comes with some big questions. What's my purpose? Is there more to life? Who is Jesus? Does faith really matter?
Alpha Youth is a place to explore those questions together.
Each gathering includes time to hang out, have fun, watch engaging content designed specifically for young people, and talk about life, faith, purpose, and Jesus.
There's no pressure to have the "right" answers. You can share your thoughts, ask questions, disagree respectfully, or simply listen.
And you don't have to attend our church or already know what you believe to join in.

Our monthly Youth events are all about fun, friendship, faith, and community!
From games and group activities to special outings and themed events, these gatherings offer a chance to relax, connect with friends, make new ones, and enjoy time together.
Each event also creates opportunities for meaningful conversations about life and faith, encouragement, and prayer.

Registration is required for all participating youth. Please complete the Youth Ministry Registration Form below before attending, and keep an eye on our church Events Calendar or Instagram for upcoming gatherings.
