Advent - Week Four - Love
The season of Advent reminds us that, because of God's great love for us, He shined His light into our darkness and that, through the world's darkness, may seem strong and pervasive, God's love is greater. Perhaps God is calling you to trust His love more, to step out in faith, to know that He can redeem your past, to see that you are worth loving, to forgive someone or to believe His forgiveness is enough for you. How might God be shining the light of His love in your heart this Advent season? |
Believe - Week 7 "Truly Truly" - John 3:1-13Book of John Guest or Host? Last week's message again challenged us to self-reflect on our faith and belief in God. Pastor Heath asked us to pause and ask ourselves if there were any distractions in our lives that have taken us away from the worship of God if there are things that have become barriers from the worship that He is due. Continuing in the book of John and the inspiration and instruction on what it means to be an apprentice of Jesus, we are then challenged to decide if we wanted Jesus to be a guest in our life of the host. Are we going to use Jesus or be used by Him? As a believer and follower of Christ, Jesus is not simply our guest but the host. We look forward to you joining us this week for Week 7's message "Truly Truly" as we continue in our series Believe. Have you missed last week's message? Click the link below.
