Friday Challenge & ReminderThis past Sunday, we dove deep into Colossians 2:16-23, exploring how Paul warns us to guard against false teachings that try to weigh us down with man-made rules and expectations. Pastor Heath shared a powerful reminder: Our faith and spiritual growth are rooted in Christ, not in the judgments or standards of others. Challenge: This week, reflect on any "rules" or pressures in your spiritual journey that may be distracting you from your true relationship with Jesus. Ask yourself: Are these rooted in Christ's teaching, or do they come from someone trying to play “referee” in your life? Reminder: We’re knit together by the Word of God, which grows us as a community. Let’s hold fast to Jesus as our head and avoid being enslaved by rules that don't lead to true freedom in Him. As Paul taught, "Don’t let anyone judge you... hold fast to Christ." Have a great weekend, and let’s continue to grow in faith and maturity together!
