Abide: Rooted in the Word is a one-day gathering for women seeking to grow in Bible literacy, deepen their love for Scripture, and learn how to remain in Christ through intentional study. This will be a time of instruction, discussion and interactive activities to help you develop your Bible study and reading time with God. Local LeadershipTwo weeks ago Pastor Heath talked about church Elders and discussed the Scripture in Titus chapter 1. We are grateful in this church to have had many Elders serving over the years, many who are still around and served faithfully on the Board in the past. As mentioned, the Elders serve terms of 4 years each and there is a rotation in place now to allow for time away and time serving to be balanced. Our current Elders board has six members and we are grateful for God's leading in each of their lives. We look forward to what God has in store as He leads and directs on our church Board, including our Pastor. They are also busy people with busy lives and need the support and backup of the church family in prayer and as God directs and leads us. |
