This Sunday at SLAC

This Sunday: We are continuing with our series, When the Spirit Moves - The Church Acts, with a message title "Do You Understand What You Are Reading?" 

Our Sunday Morning Study Group meets at 9:30 AM and continues the walk through the book of Ephesians. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’re familiar with the Bible or just starting to explore it.

During the service, Kids’ Ministries will be available after the music:

• Kids’ Church (ages 6–11)

• Nursery (ages 0–5)

We invite you to join us this Sunday as we worship together and continue discovering how the Spirit leads the Church to live and act.

Join us for a Board Game Night with snacks, good conversation, and friendly competition.

Bring your favourite board game to share or jump in on someone else’s. Whether you’re strategic, competitive, or just here for the snacks, there’s a seat at the table for you.

We’re gathering to celebrate and send off our beloved church family member, Emily, with a surprise farewell party on Saturday, January 31 at 6:00 PM. She has been such a meaningful part of our church community, and we’d love for many to come and share encouragement, gratitude, and well-wishes as she begins her next chapter.

2025 donation tax receipts are now available for pick up from the church office.
You may pick up your receipt this Sunday or during office hours Monday to Wednesday, 8:30–11:30 AM.

Bundle up and join us for a fun winter evening at Hilda Eben Park! Whether you’re carving the ice on skates or flying down the hill on a toboggan, there’s room for everyone to jump in and enjoy the night.

Ice skating and/or sledding at the park. Choose your adventure!

6:00–7:00 PM
We’ll head to a nearby location (TBD) for snacks, warm drinks, and a relaxed time of fellowship together.

Bring your skates or sled, dress for the weather, and come ready for winter fun and great company. Friends are welcome. Let’s make the most of the season together!
