Happy New Year

Happy New Year

As we step into a new year, we carry memories from the year behind us—some joyful, some heavy, and everything in between. Through every season, God has been present, moving, guiding, and sustaining His people.

While the calendar has changed, God has not. The same Spirit who moved then is still at work now, faithful and unchanging, inviting us to walk forward into this new year with trust, hope, and open hearts.

This Sunday

 Morning Worship – 11 AM,

This Sunday at SLAC

Happy New Year! If the holidays pulled you out of your usual rhythm, you’re not alone—we’ve missed you.

This Sunday, we’re returning to our series When the Spirit Moves: The Church Acts with a timely message called Distraction from the Word, perfect for starting the year centred and grounded.

Kids’ Ministries return this Sunday, and the Sunday Morning Study Group will be back on January 11.

Church Potluck

Soup & Bun

January 4, 2026

The tables are waiting, the laughter will start,

With soup and a bun to warm every heart.

No banquet of silver, no feast of great cost,

Just flavours of kindness that never gets lost.

So linger, dear friends, when the service is through,

For soup, for a bun and for friendship anew.

Asking for:

Pots of soup

Your choice of dessert

The church will provide buns.

Please let me know what you are able to bring.

If you can help set up or clean up you can let me know that too.

You can reach me by this email or text me at

780-805-9834.

Jean

Come enjoy great food and fellowship! Everyone's welcome!
