Little Steps. Big Love.

A child's earliest years are filled with wonder, discovery, and the first steps of a lifelong journey of faith. At Slave Lake Alliance Church, our Nursery is a safe, welcoming, nurturing environment where our youngest children are cared for with love while parents participate in our Sunday worship service with confidence.

We believe every child's faith journey matters. Even in these earliest years, children are surrounded by caring adults who reflect the love of Jesus through gentle care, comforting words, play, songs, and prayer. We want every family to know they belong from the moment they walk through our doors.

What to Expect

Our Nursery welcomes newborns through age 3 during each Sunday morning service.

Every Sunday, your child will be cared for by:

  • At least one adult Nursery Leader
  • At least one Nursery Helper

Our team is committed to creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where little ones can play, learn, and begin to experience God's love through meaningful relationships.

Our Commitment to Safety

The safety and well-being of every child entrusted to our care is one of our highest priorities.

All Nursery leaders and helpers are required to:

  • Complete a current Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Agree to and uphold our Children's Ministry Code of Conduct
  • Serve within our established child safety policies and procedures

If you would like more information about our child protection practices or volunteer screening process, we would be happy to answer your questions. Please contact the church office.

We'd Love to Welcome Your Family

Whether this is your first Sunday or you've been attending for years, we look forward to meeting you and your little one.

Our Nursery is more than childcare. It's the beginning of a journey where children are known, loved, and welcomed into a caring church family.

Every Child. Every Family. Always Welcome.
