At Slave Lake Alliance Church, we believe every child's faith journey matters. Kids' Church is a place where children are encouraged to discover Jesus, grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and find their place in God's story.
Each Sunday, children begin the morning worshipping alongside their families in the main service. Following the music portion of the service, children ages 4–11 are invited to Kids' Church, where an exciting morning of learning, worship, creativity, and connection awaits.
From the moment they arrive, children are welcomed by caring leaders who are passionate about helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus in an engaging, age-appropriate environment.
What to Expect
Each Sunday begins with a time of worship, singing, and learning together as one Kids' Church family. Following this shared opening session, children are divided into smaller age-appropriate groups, allowing lessons and activities to be tailored to their stage of development.

Our goal is to create an environment where every child feels welcomed, valued, and excited to learn more about Jesus each week.
A Caring and Safe Environment
Each Sunday, Kids' Church is led by at least two adult leaders, supported by one or more ministry helpers, creating a welcoming environment where children are known, encouraged, and cared for.
The safety and well-being of every child entrusted to our care is one of our highest priorities.
All Kids' Church leaders and helpers are required to:

Complete a current Vulnerable Sector Check

Agree to and uphold our Children's Ministry Code of Conduct

Serve in accordance with our established child safety policies and procedures
