Renovate

There's a certain satisfaction that comes with finishing a renovation project. Fresh paint, stronger walls, a room that finally works the way it was intended. But anyone who's ever tackled a renovation knows the work isn't always easy. Sometimes you discover hidden problems behind the walls, and sometimes the project requires skills you simply don't have on your own.

The same is true of our spiritual lives.

God is continually renovating us, shaping our hearts, renewing our thinking, and helping us become more like Christ. While we often think of faith as a personal journey, Scripture reminds us that it was never meant to be a solitary one. We grow best when we grow together.

One of the most encouraging truths from this week's message is that God often accomplishes His work in us through the people He places around us. Mentors help us grow in wisdom. Friends walk beside us through life's celebrations and hardships. Opportunities to serve allow us to encourage others while discovering that God is still at work in our own lives. Healthy Christian community isn't an optional addition to faith; it's one of God's primary tools for our transformation.
