It's December....
The time of year when a little extra humor and patience is sometimes needed! As you enter the church this week, you will notice some lovely decorations have been set up. We are once again excited to share our Christmas season with our friends and neighbours, some who will be online. We are thankful once again for the new curtains added to our stage last year and the lights and trees that complete the look! Reminders for church family: It has been very icy lately, please use caution in our church parking lot and around town as you move about. We are still needing to wear masks indoors and during our church services. Masks are available at the church also. |

Advent - Week Two - Peace
The world calls to us and pulls us in many directions, and by day's end, we are often tired, frustrated, and tempted to become envious, angry and bitter. But, instead, we need to choose to rest in the peace of the Prince of Peace. The season of Advent reminds us that the Prince of Peace has come and that He offers reconciliation and rest from sin and shame and struggle to all who put their faith in Him. How might God be seeking to sow peace in your hearts this Advent season? |

Believe - Week 5 "First Sign" - John 2:1-12Book of John Last week's message, "Follow Me," asked us what it meant to be a Disciple of Jesus; it challenged us to be more than just believers in Him but to follow Him. To BE with Jesus, BEcome like Him, and DO what He did. Pastor Heath also reminded us that as Christians, we are to make disciples by sharing life, our failures, our success, our obedience, and even our disobedience. We are to become family. Throughout this week, were you able to find or think of the person that can help you mature as a follower of Christ? Join us this week for the next message in our series Believe as Pastor Heath brings us a message titled "The First Sign" as we continue in our study through the Gospel of John. Sunday for the Poor
Sunday for the Poor total giving this year was $11,000! "Every year Food for the Hungry puts out their Gift Guide. I am going to send a physical copy of the gift guide to each of my kid's families and let my grandchildren pick out some gifts for me to give from them. I've used the gift guide with my Sunday School classes in the past and the kids love looking through it and choosing the gifts." Thanks for this idea Carol! See link below for gift ideas!
