All InvitedWe invite you to join us tomorrow as we celebrate Trudie's life and legacy. There will be a luncheon after the service where you can share your memories and stories of how Trudie impacted your life. As many of you know, Trudie loved to entertain and host game nights with lots of food and laughter. Please feel free to bring your dominos, card games or other type of games that you played around the table with her over the years. |

Prayer MeetingCorporate prayer is an important part of the life of the church, along with worship, sound doctrine, communion, and fellowship. The early church met regularly to learn the doctrine of the apostles, break bread, and pray together (Acts 2:42). When we pray together with other believers, the effects can be very positive. Corporate prayer edifies and unifies us as we share our common faith. The same Holy Spirit who dwells within each believer causes our hearts to rejoice as we hear praises to our Lord and Savior, knitting us together in a unique bond of fellowship found nowhere else in life. Join us weekly for corporate prayer meetings.

Parade of Pies - Sunday, November 5, 2023This potluck is for all the pie lovers. And who doesn't enjoy a good piece of pie whether it’s savory or dessert. Savory pies can be meat pies, shepherd’s pie, chicken pot pie or even quiche. Dessert pies can be of the fruit, cream or custard variety. If pastry is a challenge the premade frozen pie crusts work like a charm. Bisquick has several impossible pie ideas too.Salads and veggie trays will complete the meal.The church will provide a dollop of ice cream for the dessert pies.Please reply to Jean (meals@slavelakealliance.com) to let us know what you can bring to ensure a variety. |
